Usage

It is a plant widely used in Mali, RCI, and Burkina Faso. Doctor Dakuyo in Burkina Fasso has studied and experimented a lot with this plant with great success. Its roots are proven in diseases such as malaria, hepatitis, constipation, and hemorrhoidal crises.

Description of the plant

Plants no more than 50 cm in height and with leafy stems developing during rains and showing deeply palmate-lobed leaves. Beautiful yellow flowers appear at ground level after bush two. Fruits are ovoid capsules.

Direction of use

Jaundice, malaria, and hemorrhoids.

--Make a decoction of 15 grams of the root in 1 liter of water and drink during the day
