In India and Madagascar,  an infusion of Centella Asiatica is always used to treat leper and other skin diseases. On the other hand, this plant has also been used as a diuretic and hypnotic. My father used it to cure mental diseases.

It is a herbaceous plant that lives in a humid environment on lawns

shaded for example. The pubescent stems are creeping.

The leaves are arranged in a rosette They are carried by a long petiole of about 12cm. The flowers are reddish-green and the fruits

flattened circular, separating into two parts when ripe.
