Capsicum  frutescens ( digestive, HYPOCHOLESTEROLENITANT et REVUSIVE)

 Vulgar name:  Cayenne pepper, enraged pepper, Small pepper, Pilipili

African Name - Wolof: Kani buseu - Bambara: foratu, gamaho, ebaba kani - Hausa: barkono, barkhannu -Goun and  Fon: danhomé takin, vavo flin flin.

Utilization

The small pepper is currently used as a stimulant, laxative, and ingredients. It is a digestive which the abuse can cause internal mucus irritation. We recognize it as anti hemorrhoids, and, sometimes anti icteric, anti oedematous, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory. Sometimes, we added it to the cooking of febrifuges. It is very effective against hiccup and stomach ballooning. The small pepper is very good for the liver and favors gas elimination and bad cholesterol.

Direction of use 

--Stimulant of  digestion

The small pepper in reasonable quantity stimulated digestion and increase food consumption. In huge quantities, it may be irritable for the stomach and caused an ulcer.  You have to used the pepper with a lot of moderation.

 

--Revulsive

The pepper can be used as a plaster or as a cream in rheumatism and neuralgia.

 

--Hiccup and ballooning

Some pinch of small pepper powder stops the hiccup and ballooning.
